Dear Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Students, Faculty, Staff, and Community, The Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department has been working hard and meeting daily to monitor and plan for COVID-19/Coronavirus and the safety of the EEB community. They have the opportunity to participate in any of the graduate courses offered by the basic science departments and are routinely invited to speak in all of our seminar programs. The desire to explain natural phenomena, including disease, is the basis for most students’ interest in the biological sciences. The Melody Man Hing Li Lab is a virology lab at UCLA that studies host innate immune responses against mosquito-borne alphaviruses and flaviviruses. Poster authors will respond to those questions by leaving comments on the posts. The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is the home department for the multidisciplinary UCSF Immunology Program and Microbial Pathogenesis Program. The Padlet will be available for viewing the posters all of the week of the symposium and Zoom will be used for live presentations and Q&A with the poster presenters during the scheduled symposium.
